Police officers present a part of the infamous wrought iron sign that stood at the entrance of the Auschwitz Birkenau Nazi concentration camp, during a press conference in Krakow, Poland, Tuesday, December 22, 2009. The sign read "Arbeit Macht Frei" ("Work makes you free"). It was stolen December 18, 2009, and retreived by the Polish Police three days later. Three men have confessed to the theft. Between 1941 and 1944, more than one million people, most of them Jews, were killed at Auschwitz Birkenau. (AP Photo/Alik Keplicz)
