A Place Were Stars Are Born

NASA has released photos of the 30 Doradus nebula in the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC), the most prolific star-forming region in our galaxy. The photos were taken by the Hubble Space Telescope October 23-27, 2009. the LMC is located 170,000 light-years from Earth. Many of the stars, seen here in blue, are 100 times larger than our Sun.
