Strippers Protest Church that Protests Against Them
Wednesday, August 11, 2010

Every weekend for the past four years, Pastor Bill Dunfee of the New Beginnings Ministries church in Warsaw, Ohio, has led his flock in protesting the existence of the Foxhole strip club. Having grown tired of the picketing and videotaping of customers, the strip club decided to fight back—and began protesting outside the church during its weekly services. The strippers are now found lounging in lawn chairs outside the church, sporting bikinis or see-through clothing.
“When these morons go away, we’ll go away,” club owner Tommy George told the Columbus Dispatch. “The great thing about this country is that everyone has a right to believe what they want.”
Dunfee has called George “a parasite, a man without judgment,” adding: “The word of Jesus Christ says you cannot share territory with the devil.”
In November 2007, George sued New Beginnings Ministries, alleging unconstitutional harassment, but two years later his federal lawsuit was dismissed.
