Like other presidents before him, President Barack Obama has made sure to reward those individuals who help collect money for his presidential campaign.

An investigation by the Center for Public Integrity found that hundreds of "bundlers" (people who raise anywhere from $50,000 to $500,000) have been appointed to positions in the administration, invited to White House events or had their companies earn federal contracts.

Of 350 current bundlers now helping with the 2012 campaign, 68 have served on advisory boards that address issues ranging from the economy to the arts or their spouses have.

At least 250 fundraisers have attended a White House event since January 2009, including state dinners and policy briefings. In fact, according to White House logs, bundlers from 2008 and 2012 have made more than 5,000 visits to the Obama White House.

And 30 bundlers connected to the upcoming campaign are associated with businesses that have federal contracts for energy development, military matters or other government priorities.

go to open secrets.org and see all of presbo's bundlers - including john corzine who bundled almost one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) for the president's 2012 campaign. i have not heard a single news outlet cite that fact in the mf global scandal . . .
