David Grubb served as Chairman of the Presidio Trust from December 2003 until July 2009. He earned a B.S. from Princeton University in 1958, and a Master’s in Construction Management from Stanford in 1962. Two years later he began work as a project manager for Swinerton & Walberg, a San Francisco construction firm, and went on to become, in 1996, chairman and CEO of the company. He also previously served on the Board of Trustees for the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, and was appointed to the Presidio Trust board in December 2003, as the Secretary of the Interior’s designee.
